Sudanese Foreign Ministry: US sanctions on Burhan are a disregard for the Sudanese people
“Today, 8 people died because of SAF airstrikes on [southern] Khartoum And 11 people died in Abu Gouta, Jezira State because of an RSF attack”
The US Treasury says that the Sudanese Armed Forces under Burhan's command have committed deadly attacks on civilians, including airstrikes against protected infrastructure including schools, markets, and hospitals. The Sudanese Armed Forces are also responsible for the routine and deliberate denial of humanitarian access, using food denial as a tactic of war.
