6 month agoWad Medani has become the largest displacement camp for those who fled war in Khartoum. The city has become a major hub for NGOs, medical and health services, and trade. The attack on Medani is an attack on civilians. No statement from SAF, RSF or the FFC until now
The RSF's attack on Medani suggests expanding the war beyond Khartoum. Medani has hundreds of thousands of displaced people from Khartoum. The area is strategic and leads to the East and the agricultural belt in El-Gedarif. It's also a densely populated rural villages

A fire broke out today at Garri Refinery, Khartoum State, which is occupied by the Rapid Support Forces. The army spokesman blamed RSF, saying they sent a tanker to draw fuel "without adhering to safety procedures followed by such sensitive facilities."
